Since Imagine No Malaria was launched in 2010, more than 1.2 million insecticide-treated bed nets have been distributed in Africa, affecting 2.4 million lives. Now we will be distributing more nets, giving out more medicines, educating more health-care workers and keeping more families safe.

But too many mothers and young children are still dying from malaria, a preventable disease. If your church members did not have a chance to donate to the Mother’s Day campaign, they may still do so at ImagineNoMalaria.org/sharethelove. To learn more about how a mosquito bite destroys lives, ask your local NBC affiliates to air “A Killer in the Dark,” The United Methodist Church-produced documentary available through Nov. 3 For more information, please go toImagineNoMalaria.org/akillerinthedark.
