Hearts for Haiti:
Hearts for Haiti is looking for volunteers to work 1, 2, or 3 weeks with the Eglise Methodiste de Haiti in Jeremie Haiti, during Feb and March of 2018. Volunteers will be working with mobile medical clinics and construction projects. The approximate cost is $1,800 including airfare for one week and $450 for each additional week. Kenya: February 21- March 6, 2018

Various Weeks throughout 2017. The Carolina Honduras Health Foundation is accepting medical teams for 2017. They are seeking teams made up of a combination of physicians, PAs, nurses, EMTs, pharmacists, and other non-medical volunteers. The cost for each week is approximately $1600. FOB Mountain Medical Mission Teams provide primary and preventative healthcare.  They set up anti-parasite & Vitamin A stations as well as general medicine, eye, and dental clinics in small schools and churches.  The majority of the patients have never seen a healthcare provider.

Each team is comprised of 4-5 medical professionals, 2-3 Spanish speakers, and non-medical volunteers with willing hearts and hands.  Teams work side by side with FOB staff members in Honduras and are a key component to the model of healthcare we are striving to promote.  For more information on other trips, please contact Erin Caldwell, erin@fobf.or

This trip will be from Oct. 28 – Nov. 4, 2017. The cost is $1,400 inclusive from Tampa, FL.  Medical personnel are welcome to join us and serve alongside the medical professionals there.

For those interested in the Florida area, there will be monthly team building meetings.  Typically,  a $500 deposit is due by June 1, a second $500 deposit by July 1, and then airline tickets will be purchased in July.

February 10-17, 2018. Missionary Friends and Epworth United Methodist Church are seeking volunteers to join their team to El Ayudante in Leon, Nicaragua. The team will be participating in medical, veterinary, construction, VBS, and water purification projects, and volunteers with all skill levels are welcome. The approximate cost is $1750.
